Biblical Counseling Services
Do you or someone you love struggle with: depression, anger, pornography, addictions, destructive eating habits, ADD/ADHD, marriage, fear, bitterness, homosexuality, lust, forgiveness, facing death, family, parenting, peer pressure, worry, stress, pain/suffering, communication, or guilt? Help is available through the Biblical Counseling Service. A trained counselor is available to take on a limited number of cases.
Our mission is to be used by God to help Christians become more like Christ. We work to help believers deal with difficulties with the tools of the Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Sometimes Christians need the encouragement of the hope found in God's Word. Some do not know what the Bible teaches about communication, how to resolve conflicts, how to parent, how to forgive or how to change and grow. Others are weak in faith. We provide life-changing information from the Word along with genuine Christ like love and care. We help believers overcome sin. Many problems have, as their root, sin. Lust, anger, lying, lack of self control, selfishness and the lack of Biblical love are among the many sins that can lead to problems so serious that people need help (sought in the form of counseling). Through the truths and enabling strength of God's Word, believers put off sin and put on righteousness (Ephesians 4:22-24). The Word (Psalm 119:9-11) is used to enable brothers and sisters to have victory over these and all sins. We help Christians overcome other problems of life as well. We also provide discipleship. Along with a process of change in regard to the life problems that are the focus of counseling, concurrently the counselee is helped to develop the close personal relationship with Christ that will be the key to overcoming the future storms of life. The believer glorifies God by making patterns of daily quality Bible study, prayer and involvement in church resources and ministries. They simultaneously grow in spiritual maturity.
